One morning, the sky looked strange. The clouds were gray, and the rainbow that usually arched across the sky had lost all its colors. It was just a pale, white curve.
“Oh no!” cried Lily, a little girl who loved rainbows. “Without colors, the world feels so sad.”
Determined to help, Lily grabbed her backpack and ran to the meadow where the rainbow touched the ground. There she found a tiny, sad rainbow sprite sitting in the grass.
“I… I don’t know what happened,” the sprite whispered. “I woke up and all the colors were gone.”
Lily thought for a moment. “Maybe the colors just need some happiness to come back!” She clapped her hands and laughed, then sang her favorite cheerful song. Birds joined in, and the flowers seemed to sway with joy.
Slowly, the sprite’s smile returned, and little by little, the colors of the rainbow began to glow again—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
“Thank you, Lily!” said the sprite. “You reminded me that colors come from joy and kindness.”
From that day on, whenever Lily saw a rainbow, she remembered that happiness and a little bit of courage could bring even the dullest days to life. 🌈✨
