Milo was a tiny turtle who lived in a peaceful pond. Unlike his brothers and sisters who liked to hide in their shells, Milo dreamed of exploring the world beyond the water lilies.
One day, a strong wind blew a little duckling far from her family. She landed near the tall grass and began to cry. “I can’t find my way back!”
All the animals hid, too afraid to help. But Milo took a deep breath. “Don’t worry. I’ll guide you home.”
Step by step, with his little legs, Milo led the duckling through tall reeds, across muddy patches, and around the big rocks. Sometimes he felt scared, but he kept going.
Finally, they reached the pond where the duckling’s family was waiting. The mother duck quacked happily, “Thank you, brave little turtle.”
Milo smiled proudly. For the first time, he realized that being brave didn’t mean being the biggest or the fastest—it meant helping others, even when you felt small. 🐢💛
