Leo the lion was the loudest animal in the jungle. Every morning, his roar echoed across the trees, and all the animals listened in awe. But one day, when Leo woke up and tried to roar—nothing came out! Not even a squeak.
Worried, Leo went to his friends for help. The monkeys gave him bananas, thinking food might help. The parrots tried to teach him to sing instead. Even the elephants let him practice trumpet sounds with their trunks. But still, Leo’s roar was gone.
At first, Leo felt sad and thought he was no longer special. But soon he discovered something amazing: even without his roar, the animals still loved him for being kind, brave, and helpful. He learned that true strength was not just in his roar, but in his heart.
One evening, as Leo comforted a frightened rabbit, his voice slowly returned—soft at first, then louder, until his mighty roar filled the jungle again. This time, Leo’s roar carried not just strength, but kindness too.
And from then on, the animals admired Leo not only as the king of the jungle, but as their true friend.
